Alongside its main experience about Meteora, Terra Immersia is currently hosting “Chernobyl – The Exclusion Zone”, an immersive photo exhibition by Vasilis Tsiolis, marking forty years since the nuclear disaster.

Inside the exclusion zone

The photographs were taken in the exclusion zone around the nuclear plant. They do not hang in frames: they are projected across the whole room, so visitors feel they are standing inside the abandoned buildings rather than in front of a picture.

One room, many stories

The Terra Immersia room is built to change: the same space can tell a different story each time. Vasilis Tsiolis’ exhibition is shown in the same room where the history of Meteora comes to life.

Information

Terra Immersia is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00, at Th. Oikonomou 3, Kalabaka. For exhibition screenings and groups: +30 24320 24562, info@terra-immersia.gr.
